We repaired a Phat PS4 today that would only sync a controller in “safe mode” and not in normal operation mode. This pinpoints the WiFi/BT module has failed. So we replaced the module and back up and syncing

We harvested a replacement from a donor board and reballed it

We then removed the original IC so we could install the replacement
