I received a One S I purchased from eBay with a description of “

Xbox One S Faulty. 

USB ports were playing up and then it just completely stopped running to the tv. Still turns on, just no picture for it. Unsure what’s happened but have upgraded anyway

Upon opening the unit I found one hell of a mess,missing HDD SATA port and both HDMI input/output missing. Dishonest sellers really upset me. It is so easy to be honest rather than deceptive!

Once I replaced the missing components I was met with a distorted image and stuck in 640×480 resolution so at this point I had to go ahead and replace the TDP159 HDMI retimer IC

All complete and a working console once again
