We repaired the power plug to a PS4 pro motherboard today that the customer had ripped off during his attempt to dismantle the console.

We prepared the board and traces so we could remount the plug adapter. In this situation there is no ground pads left to solder to so we prepare the area next to where the pads would normally be so we can attach with a lot of extra solder to hold it in place.

Successfully we were able to mount the plug and all was good, the console was now back up and running

This is exaclty what I have been searching for. This is a good cove for reading over specialized tips and tricks. Your large database is so helpful and will benefit me in my hobbies. I saved this index and will be comming back for extra information. I stumbled across the info that I had already looked all over the place and simply couldn’t find. What a well developed web site.
