Today we repaired a PS4 phat with the BLOD.
It was a mess and required a complete service

We replaced this mosfet and revived the console,only to find it had the BLOD.
With a thermal camera we were able to diagnose a block of RAM was not starting up and theis leads us to believe that the APU has lost contact with the motherboard. So we went ahead and reballed the APU.

After installing th eAPU back to the board the console booted and was back in working order.

While we had the console apart we also serviced the hidden areas of the cooling system which was in poor condition.
The heatsink was blocked with lint and preventing the cooling system to work correctly.
