Today we repaired a PS4 Slim N17-160P1A power supply. Initially the console showed no signs of life which pinpointed the power supply had failed. We removed and dismantled the PSU and found that the main fuse had blown. So we did some testing and diagnosing as to why the fuse had blown.

Diagnosis lead us to find that the bridge rectifier was shorted. We replace the fuse and the bridge rectifier and the power supply was repaired and the console was back up and running. Another happy customer 🙂
