It’s very tedious work repairing pads under the PS3 RSX(Graphics Chip). This usually happens when someone has attempted to repair the console with the wrong tools and way to much heat.

Once the area has been cleaned up I can go ahead and repair the missing pads with wire from the via to where the pads should be.

Once the wire has been soldered into place I can then cover the exposed areas with UV solder mask to prevent corrosion and cross contact from the balls.

This is an extremely microscopic job and is done with a trinocular microscope
