I’ve done 100’s and 100’s of these CELL delids. Every time it is a scary process. One wrong move can render the console useless. A quick video of me removing it with a custom tool/spatula I made years ago.
Pressure the wrong way can tear pads and balls from the motherboard under the BGA and scratching the surface with a tool can damage the very very fine traces and render the console unusable.
