Q. How long will it take to repair my console?

We have a 24 hour turnaround for the majority of repairs.

Q. Can I post my console in for a repair?

Yes we accept mail in repairs. Please fill out and send the "webform" HERE on our contact page along with your console.

Q. Do I need to make a booking?

No bookings are required and you are able to drop off your device anytime during our opening hours.

Q. What is your address?

Q. Can you fix my Xbox/PS5/PS4 controller?

Unfortunately we do not do any kind of controller repairs. We strictly repair consoles only.

Q. Can you fix my DS/Gameboy 3DS etc?

Unfortunately we do not do any kind of controller repairs. We strictly repair consoles only.

Q. Do I need to bring cables and controllers?

No you do not need to bring your cables or controllers. All we need you to bring is the console itself.

Q. What is the PS3 FRANKENSTEIN Mod?

The FRANKENSTEIN mod is replacing the existing RSX(Graphics Card) in your beloved PS3 with a later revision RSX of 65nm or 40nm.
Doing away with the default 90nm RSX installed.
While your PS3 is being FRANKY modded it has all of the other components that generally cause the YLOD replaced also.

Q. How much will it cost to repair my console?

Prices vary for different issues and different consoles. You can find a price list HERE with common repairs.

Q.Do you still charge if you are unable to fix my console?

No, We have a "No Fix No Fee" policy but the majority of faulty console we see are repairable.

Q. Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

No we do not charge a diagnostic fee and usually can give you a ball park figure from the description of your symptoms.

Q. Do you accept Afterpay?

We do have Afterpay available for online purchases, We do not offer Afterpay in store unfortunately.

Q. How do I pay for my repair if I post it to you?

You will be invoiced upon completion of your repair and you have the option to pay via EFT online banking or you can call us and pay via Credit Card over the phone.

Q. Why can I not checkout with PayPal?

Unfortunately due to PayPal's AUP (Acceptable use policy) we are no longer able to process any transactions that carry any kind of "modification" with the PayPal platform. If PayPal checkout option is available on the item you are purchasing is eligible, it will have the option to do so.
If you have any item in your cart at checkout which fails to meet the PayPal AUP then it will remove the option for other items to also checkout with PayPal.
We apologise for any inconvenience.

Q. Do you offer warranty on repairs?

We offer a 6 month warranty on parts and labour.
If there is a problem with a repaired device within this timeframe we will not hesitate to rectify the problem within a reasonable timeframe for you.  We do however have the right to request your receipt for the repair.If your device has been altered in any way or warranty seals have been removed after the repair, eg drops, cracks, liquid or any other damage your warranty will unfortunately be void.

Q. Will I lose my data?

With the majority of repairs carried out, they do not require and interaction with your "data". There should be no need delete or remove your data.
If your device happens to have a faulty hard disk drive or the likes, then yes your data will be lost and unrecoverable.
If you are concerned about your data prior to a repair and you have the available option to back it up, we suggest you do for your own peace of mind.
